If you're here, you're probably already familiar with Ramune, the Japanese soda that comes in 6 flavors (original, orange, kiwi, peach, melon and lychee) and is opened by displacing a pressurized marble with a plastic opener. If not, you've just heard what Ramune is.

Many people want to show how much they like Ramune by getting the marble out. Some people say it's impossible. Others can only do it by breaking the bottle (and it might not break properly) or using a soldering iron to melt off the blue stopper on top. Those who have tried cutting the stopper itself say either that it's impossible or would take days to cut off. So here's how to do it in under an hour, just to show off to all your Japanophile friends.

NOTE! Kids, please don't try this at home! Sharp objects are for grownups!
